Cross Electrical (Nottingham) Ltd provide hopper heating systems to prevent condensation and temperatures below dew point preventing blockages and providing free-flowing conditions.

Our range of mineral insulated metal sheathed heating cables are utilized for a range of temperature applications & specific requirements:

 
 
 

XIN/SC

For functions up to 600°C – they are nickel sheathed, single conductor heating cables supplying the highest level of corrosion resistance. .

 

XSS/SC

For applications up to 600°C – these are stainless steel sheathed single conductor heating cables giving resistance to the majority of corrosive substances

 
 

XCN/SC

For use up to 250°C – with cupro-nickel sheathed single conductor heating cables providing a cost-effective heating solution for intermediate temperatures with outstanding anti-corrosive properties;

 

XSS/TC

For those purposes up to 600°C – incorporating stainless steel sheathed twin conductor heating cable supplying many design choices.

 
 
 

The heating cables are formed and secured onto weldmesh grid. The heating grids are then secured to the hopper walls by stud pins & mudguard washers providing high density wattage output.

Local thermostatic control or ‘Bespoke’ control panels provide consistent temperature maintenance for all your hopper heating requirements.
