Electrical heating is a fundamental element of the future energy market. It ensures sufficient heating in a future energy economy, likely to be dominated by solar and other electrical renewables. Regenerative natural resources like wood, biogas and ground level geothermal energy cannot meet the entire heating energy requirement.

To address this issue, Hemstedt have developed Green Electric Mat®. Green Electric Mat® with unilateral connection and i-sleeve is the floor heating mat that provides economically efficient heating. The mat is placed in tile glue.

This particularly thin mat with slim, sleeveless connection technology can be used in new and old buildings alike. The desired heating stages are selected on site with serial switches.

Green Electric Mat® has built-in safety features and has been filed at the European Patent Office. The heating mat also has a reserve heating cable that ensures comfort heating operation can be maintained, even if one heating circuit fails.
