Can you please pass on our thanks to Martyn and his team for the excellent work that they have done for us this weekend. Despite challenging weather conditions they managed to complete the planned works in good time. We have test run the dryer this afternoon and all is good. Many thanks. Paul Taylor
Non-Standard Heating Requirements
Within Cross Electrical (Nottingham) Ltd we have many years of experience in the Trace Heating / Surface Heating of complex equipment.
We can provide trace heating systems to operate on any AC or DC supply voltage from 12 volts to 500 volts
Process / surface temperatures
Temperature maintenance and surface temperatures can be achieved from 0 to 500°C when designing trace heating systems for process applications.
Heating cables can be formed and secured to weldmesh or perforated sheet for heating grids of any size and shape with heat outputs in watts per square metre up to 1000 watts.
Heating grids can be secured to vessels walls or installed internally on the base of the vessel. The immersed heating grids are an excellent solution for rapid heat-up of products within the tank or vessel.
Other specialist applications include:
- Large Diameter Pipes
- Small Bore Tubing
- Flexible Hoses
- Large Tanks & Vessels
- Small Containers
- Large Containers
- Pumps ~ Valves ~ Filters ~ Flow Meters
- Road tankers (Overnight Maintain)
- Tank Immersion Heaters
We have the resources to make available a synchronized package to completely satisfy any particular requirement in Electrical Trace Heating.
If there is anything you require which is not mentioned above, get in touch with us with details of what it is you are looking for, and we will consult with you and come up with a mutually acceptable result to meet all of your needs.
Internal trace heating
Internals can be installed in 6mm to 1000mm diameter pipework, using single or three phase systems in circuit length up to 1000 metres.
By placing a direct heat source into a product, the temperature raising response time and efficiency is significantly improved.
Internal trace heating can be used when renewing existing systems with no necessity to remove the thermal insulation.
Heating cables are not subjected to corrosion from external sources and minimises mechanical damage.
